To highlight the excellence of this new 2022-2023 Management Committee leadership, we decided to have them complete the JCCM questionnaire! This will allow you to learn a little more about the personality of our directors!

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

I have been involved for more than 15 years in causes that are close to my heart and volunteering is part of my DNA. I found in the JCCM my Quebec family, especially since we share the same values. It is quite natural that we have been working together since my arrival in Quebec and it is a pleasure for me to get involved with members with such varied and inspiring profiles.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

Networking - aka my flair for identifying the right profiles or contacts 😉

• What's the saying that fits you the most?

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

The JCCM is an organization that has an important impact on the next generation of business people and that is constantly adapting to continue to meet their needs, listen to them, equip them, represent them and promote them. For me, it was important to be part of these efforts and to participate in the continuing growth of the JCCM.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

I've been figure skating for over 20 years, so I'd say I'm not too bad on skates! ⛸

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

If you can dream it, you can do it.

• Why did you decide to get involved with JCCM?

To build strong relationships with future leaders from a variety of backgrounds.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

Enthusiastic mimicry in my time! 🥸

• What is the saying that most resonates with you?

"We'll cross the bridge when we get to the river" Because not knowing should never be a barrier to moving forward!

• Why did you decide to get involved with JCCM?

I didn't initially think that the JCCM was for the profession of occupational psychology, so it was primarily for the purpose of developing my network. However, while browsing the site, I felt that my background would allow me to make a real contribution to the organization. It was this intrinsic motivation to make a difference and bring my profession closer to the business world that led me to make the final decision to get involved and then to continue my involvement for a 4th consecutive year!

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

Making my dog bark 🐶 (At now 8 months old, she has more than discovered her voice and I feel like even when I try to stop making her bark, I make her bark more! Hopefully this talent will turn into: stop making my dog bark!)

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

A bee that stays in the nest does not gather honey!

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

To collaborate on important public affairs issues for Montreal's next generation of business people with young professionals as passionate as I am.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

Juggling: with 3 pins, 4 balls or 38 files at the same time. 🤹

• What's the saying that fits you the most?

Come what may, if it snows, we'll shovel!

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

To broaden my network and horizons, to learn from the next generation of business people and to support them through the public affairs committee.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

My knowledge of Celine Dion's discography! 🎤

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

Alone we go faster, together we go further.

Why did you decide to get involved with JCCM?

• To develop other skills that were not possible in my job. And now I can use them at work! I also wanted to do something that was different from my daily work life, but that interested me!

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

I make great desserts! 🍰

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

My 2nd name is often said to be efficient.

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

Early in their careers, my parents became involved with the JCCM and formed friendships that continue to this day. Their rich learning and praise quickly convinced me of the value this organization brings to young Montrealers.

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

I am a singer-songwriter and pianist. 🎹

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

Everything is possible to whoever dreams, dares, works and never gives up.

• Why did you decide to get involved with the JCCM?

For me, volunteering is about "giving, receiving, meeting, listening, learning, reflecting, discovering, understanding, sharing, collaborating, growing, building, evolving, uniting and becoming."

• What is your most unsuspected talent?

I have my boating license. Sailing has no secrets for me. ⚓️

• What is the saying that fits you the most?

"Alea jacta es" translated as "the die is cast". I assume the consequences of my decisions, going all the way.
