Responsible, visionary and committed business leaders: twelve business personalities rewarded


Montreal, October 26, 2022 - For its grand return to the classroom, the 45th edition of the prestigious ARISTA Provincial Competition took place last night, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Alcan House in Montreal. Presented by BMO Financial Group and chaired by Beneva, the ARISTA Gala rewarded the exceptional talents of Quebec's next generation.

This year's contest was chaired by Mélissa Gilbert, Executive Vice President and Leader, Financial Affairs at Beneva. The Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal (JCCM) warmly thanks Gisèle Lullaby, host of the evening, who was recently crowned grand winner of the 3rd season of Canada's Drag Race. The JCCM would like to highlight the talent of the duo Agathe and Adrien, as well as Le Monastère, who put on a remarkable show. Once again this year, the Contest has allowed us to discover personalities who shine through their progressive and innovative values thanks to responsible selection criteria.

We would also like to warmly thank the following partners: Sun Life Financial, which is offering a $1,000 grant to all the winners, LOJIQ - Les Offices Jeunesse Internationaux du Québec for the two mobility grants for an international stay in 2023 that will be offered to all the finalists, and finally the Conseil des Arts de Montréal for the exclusive grant of $1,500 to the winner in the category Young Entrepreneur of Quebec: Arts and Culture.

Two steps forward

The finalists and winners of the 2022 edition of the ARISTA Provincial Competition have distinguished themselves not only by their sense of leadership and innovation, but also by their desire to make things happen and have a significant influence in the Quebec business world. The richness of the profiles and the innovative spirit of the next generation of business leaders were illustrated by the nearly 400 applications received by the Junior Chamber teams. A true talent spotlight for the past 45 years, the ARISTA Provincial Competition rewards and highlights the most promising personalities of Quebec's next generation of business leaders, who distinguish themselves by their leadership, their sense of innovation and their values of social responsibility. The JCCM wishes to warmly thank the volunteer teams who have made every effort to ensure the success of the 2022 edition of ARISTA.

The ARISTA competition allows young talents from various backgrounds to shine throughout Quebec. It distinguishes tomorrow's innovative leaders and values their commitment to the community. By revealing the involvement of Quebec's next generation of business leaders, the competition also highlights the values of social responsibility that they hold dear.
